StageDeck app
StageDeck keeps your songs, setlists and gigs on your own device. There is no account to create, nothing is uploaded to us, and there are no ads or trackers. This page explains exactly what that means.

StageDeck is an offline app for musicians: a library of backing tracks with key, tempo, lyrics and chords, setlists you can run, and gigs you can schedule. Everything you put into it is stored on your device and works without an internet connection.
Everything you create in StageDeck is saved in your device's local app storage and never leaves it unless you export it yourself. That includes:
This information is held only on the device where you entered it. We cannot see it, and it is not synced to a cloud account by the app.
We do not collect personal information through the app. There is no registration, no profile, no usage tracking, and no advertising identifier in StageDeck. Because the app has no backend that receives your content, we have no copy of your library, setlists or gig details on our side.
StageDeck asks only for what a feature needs, at the moment you use it:
StageDeck does not use your microphone, camera, location, contacts, or phone, and it does not read your calendar. When you add a gig to your calendar, the app creates a calendar file (.ics) that you choose to open — it does not access calendar entries.
StageDeck does not include advertising or analytics SDKs. The one time the app reaches the internet is when you import lyrics from a PDF: it loads a PDF-reading component (pdf.js) from a public content-delivery network (Cloudflare's cdnjs). Your PDF is read on your device and its contents are not uploaded; however, loading that component sends a normal web request, so the network provider may receive your device's IP address as part of serving the file, under its own terms. If you never import a PDF, this request is never made.
StageDeck can back up your songs' details, lyrics and chords, volumes and setlists to a file, and can export set sheets, gig sheets and calendar files. These files are created on your device and saved to the location you pick. Audio files are not included in a backup — you keep those yourself. We never receive your backups or exports, so where they are stored and who can open them is up to you.
We do not sell, rent or share your information, because the app does not send it to us in the first place. Anything that leaves your device leaves because you exported or shared it yourself.
Your data stays on your device until you remove it. You can delete individual songs, setlists or gigs in the app, and uninstalling StageDeck removes the data the app stored on that device. Backup or export files you saved elsewhere remain under your control and are not affected by uninstalling.
StageDeck is a tool for performers and is not directed at children. It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Because your data lives on your device, its safety depends largely on your device's own protection. We recommend keeping your device locked with a passcode or biometric lock and storing any backups somewhere only you can reach. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but keeping your content local and off our servers removes whole categories of risk.
If the app's data practices change, we will update this page and revise the date above. Significant changes will be highlighted in the app or its store listing before they take effect.
